Our client, a leading supplier of mobile offices, modular buildings, and classrooms, is seeking an adept Operations Manager to join their Denver team.


As the Operations Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Branch Manager to optimize local operations, ensuring seamless resource utilization and exceptional customer satisfaction.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Operations Oversight:

  • Supervise yard supervisors, workers, and drivers.
  • Delegate tasks, enforce company standards, and manage personnel.
  • Develop vendor relationships, implement best practices, and maintain equipment.


Safety Management:

  • Plan, execute, and oversee safety activities and training.
  • Identify and mitigate safety risks, investigate incidents, and establish emergency response procedures.


Technology Integration:

  • Utilize technology tools for communication, scheduling, and resource management.
  • Drive adoption of new technologies to enhance operational effectiveness.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Manage all personnel within the yard, including employees, vendors, contractors, drivers, and service technicians.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with 3-5 years of experience in safety and operations management.
  • Proficiency in CRM and operational software applications.
  • Strong customer service orientation, communication skills, and multitasking ability.
  • Physical ability to perform outdoor duties, operate equipment, and lift heavy objects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving and ethical decision-making.


PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS

  • Adherence to personal protective equipment requirements.
  • Ability to operate company vehicles and equipment, with a minimum lifting capacity of 125 pounds.
  • Fine motor skills, coordination, and physical stamina to work in various environments.
  • Comfort working in diverse weather conditions and around heavy machinery.
  • Proficiency in hand and power tool operation.
