Lead Shop Mechanic

Then Horizon Landscape wants you We currently have a full-time position available for an experienced Fleet and Small Engine Equipment Service Mechanic.

Maintenance Mechanic service technician with at least 5 years experience need only apply.

Our fleet includes over 35 trucks and trailers as well as 100 plus pieces of small equipment that require servicing on a scheduled basis and repairs as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

SMALL POWER EQUIPMENT including:

• Cutoff saws
• Chainsaws
• Scag mowers
• Aerators
• Briggs and Stratton motors

FLEET VEHICLES including:

• Passenger cars
• Pickup trucks
• 1 ton gas and diesel trucks

ASSORTED MEDIUM DUTY EQUIPMENT including:

• Skid Loaders
• Excavator (12,000 lbs)
• Vibratory Plow / Trencher
• Tow behind air compressors

OPERATIONS:

• Servicing and repairing equipment and vehicles
• Changing tires
• Welding
• Shop and yard maintenance
• Building maintenance

Are you a good fit?

• A minimum of 5 years hands-on experience
• Ability to diagnose gas and diesel engines
• Able to troubleshoot electrical problems
• Strong MIG Welding skills required
• Lighting body repair and painting
• Detail-oriented and skilled in record-keeping and documentation.
• Valid Driver's License
• Physical fitness to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Not mandatory, but a plus if you:

• Are bilingual in English and Spanish.
