Corporate Paralegal

Seeking a skilled and dedicated in-house Paralegal to engage with various family-owned enterprises, fostering a dynamic and stimulating work setting.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and organize contracts, agreements, and legal documents pertinent to the company's operations.
• Prepare, review, and refine legal documents, encompassing NDAs, EB-5 project documents, third-party agreements, developer questionnaires, lease agreements, and amendments.
• Assist outside counsel by assembling, reviewing, redacting, and organizing information and documents.
• Oversee the review, redaction, and submission of Freedom of Information Act requests. Assist outside counsel with governmental filings by gathering requisite documents.
• Assist in drafting applicable project legal documents, such as escrow agreements, pre-subscription agreements, etc.
• Provide comprehensive support to the Director of Corporate Governance, Senior Paralegal, General Counsel, and Deputy General Counsel in various legal matters, as well as other internal departments as needed.
• Assist with insurance-related matters, including policy tracking, requesting policies and endorsements, and overseeing renewals.
• Efficiently organize and maintain case files.

Requirements:

• 4 to 5 years of experience as a paralegal in a law firm or corporate setting.
• Experience in insurance is desirable.
• Strong organizational and multitasking
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and keen attention to detail.
• Demonstrated initiative.
