The Project Manager—Digital Marketing and Events will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing all digital marketing projects and events targeted at the orthopedic physician community. This role requires an experienced project manager with a deep understanding of digital marketing, event planning, and healthcare industry experience. The ideal candidate is strategic, extremely detail-oriented, and skilled in managing multifaceted projects that span digital campaigns, video content, events, and partnerships.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Digital Marketing Strategy & Execution:
  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to increase website traffic, lead generation, and brand visibility in the orthopedic healthcare community.
  • Oversee campaigns across SEO, social media, email marketing, and video content creation, ensuring all initiatives are consistent with the brand and effectively reach target audiences.


  • Event Planning & Management:
  • Lead a team to plan, coordinate, and manage events, including conferences, webinars, and industry partnerships that enhance brand reputation and drive engagement with orthopedic professionals.
  • Direct a team to handle all event marketing, including promotional activities, to ensure seamless execution and high engagement.


  • Project Management:
  • Lead cross-functional teams (social media, video and product marketing) in delivering digital and event projects on time and per contract obligations.
  • Maintain a detailed project plan with clear deliverables, deadlines, and resource allocation to ensure transparency and accountability.


  • Stakeholder Communication & Coordination:
  • Serve as the primary contact for project stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and vendors, keeping them updated on project progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings, providing insights, troubleshooting issues, and aligning project deliverables with business objectives.


  • Compliance & Quality Control:
  • Review and approve digital and event marketing content, ensuring accuracy and brand consistency.


  • Performance Tracking & Optimization:
  • Measure and analyze the effectiveness of digital campaigns and events, using dashboards to optimize future projects and improve ROI.
  • Monitor orthopedic industry trends and digital marketing innovations to keep strategies current and impactful.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
  • 5+ years of project management experience in digital marketing and event management, preferably within healthcare or a related field.
  • Proven experience in successfully planning and managing digital campaigns for large-scale events.
  • Proficiency with digital marketing and project management tools (Google Analytics, Sprout Social, Notions, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Effective leadership qualities, including clear communication, problem-solving skills, motivation, inspiration, and accountability to foster the growth of a small team.
