Computer Aided Design Drafter

Description
Leaders in designing, engineering, and fabricating rotary drum dryers and structural steel solutions are looking for their next Structural Steel Detailer/Draftsperson. This person will play a key role in drafting structural steel components for large-scale construction projects.
Your responsibilities include creating detailed drawings of beams, columns, connections, floor plates, cross-bracing, and anchor bolts. Working closely with project managers and engineers, you'll ensure accurate interpretation of design specifications and timely delivery of drawings. This role will also involve collaborating with various departments such as engineering, sales, marketing, accounting, and manufacturing to facilitate seamless production and construction processes.
Qualifications
- Associates Degree
- 3+ years of drafting experience
- Good CAD skills (Tekla preferred)
- A passion for the structural steel industry
- Good communication skills
