PATIENT COORDINATOR JOB DESCRIPTION

 

·       Call patients to review biopsy results and discuss treatment recommendations. 

 

·       Schedule procedures based on the plan in the results log. 

 

·       Schedule Mohs appointments and do Mohs consults as well as co-schedule with other surgical offices when needed. 

 

·       When referring patients out – fax pertinent records and coordinate appointments and email photos as needed.

 

·       Check voicemail/email every 1-2 hours.

 

·       Answer incoming calls.

 

·       Check intramail throughout the day.

 

·       Check prelim notes throughout the day.

 

·       Make 2nd and 3rd calls every 2 weeks.

 

·       Send out letters to non-compliant patients.

 

·       Register and confirm patients in iPledge.
