  • Identify and illustrate key business trends and drivers by framing problems effectively, analyzing data, interpreting results, and creating visualizations.
  • Develop well-designed management scorecards and dashboards to ensure accurate and robust reporting of key business/project/initiative metrics.
  • Provide impactful analysis based on thorough economic, financial, and statistical evaluations.
  • Estimate the impact of various scenarios using rigorous analytical and financial models.
  • Design and validate methods to optimize customer interactions in terms of Who, When, Where, and How, demonstrating proficiency in data science techniques applicable to this context.
  • Cultivate a deep understanding of relevant data sources, business intelligence technologies, and analytical tools to swiftly address senior executive inquiries.
  • Craft compelling presentations and documents, effectively communicating findings with clarity and influence.
  • Proactively communicate factors influencing deliverables to senior management and articulate assumptions and quantitative methodologies to colleagues across teams.

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated with the ability to thrive under tight deadlines.
  • Passionate about delivering accurate, relevant, high-quality, and impactful results with acute attention to detail.
  • Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Capacity to reconcile information from multiple stakeholders and effectively manage communication across diverse audiences, including technical vs. business and junior vs. senior.
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity regarding business drivers.
  • Willingness and eagerness to quickly learn new tools and technologies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Strategic Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Science, or Consulting in a digital environment or related field.
  • Quantitative degree (e.g., Sciences, Operations Research, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering) or equivalent experience in an analytical role.
  • Background in content/media, marketing tech, subscription business, or internet industries preferred, with familiarity in ecommerce analytics, marketing analytics, experimentation, membership/loyalty analytics, and revenue management techniques being advantageous.
  • Proficiency in data/analytical tools, including strong experience with SQL, proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Microstrategy, knowledge of statistics and modeling, and experience with programming languages like Python, R, Jupyter, or other analytics/data science tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Sciences, Operations Research, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or similar field, or equivalent experience in an analytical role.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, or other analytics/data science tools.
  • Excellent written and oral communication/presentation skills.
