Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and compliance in all aspects of our automotive manufacturing processes. Your expertise and leadership will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our reputation for delivering reliable, safe, and top-quality automotive products to our customers.

Responsibilities:


Quality Management System:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a robust quality management system to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure all quality processes are documented, regularly reviewed, and continuously improved to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.


Quality Assurance and Control:

  • Oversee and lead the quality control team to perform inspections, tests, and audits on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
  • Establish and maintain quality control measures to identify and rectify non-conformances promptly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues and prevent reoccurrence.


Supplier Quality Management:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components.
  • Conduct regular supplier audits and evaluations to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.


Performance Metrics and Reporting:

  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and report on the overall quality performance of the organization.
  • Present quality reports to senior management, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations for action.

Continuous Improvement Initiatives:

  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization, promoting Lean, Six Sigma, or other quality improvement methodologies.
  • Lead and facilitate quality improvement projects to optimize processes, reduce defects, and enhance overall product quality.


Training and Development:

  • Provide training and support to employees at all levels to ensure a thorough understanding of quality standards, processes, and best practices.


Compliance and Certification:

  • Ensure the organization's compliance with relevant automotive quality standards, such as IATF 16949, or any other applicable standards.
  • Oversee certification and recertification processes and maintain all necessary documentation.


Customer Satisfaction:

  • Collaborate with customer-facing teams to address customer feedback, complaints, and quality-related inquiries promptly and effectively.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction metrics and implement improvements based on feedback.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Quality Manager within the automotive industry, demonstrating a track record of improving quality and driving continuous improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive quality standards, regulations, and best practices (IATF 16949).
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions and implement effective quality solutions.
  • Experience in implementing quality improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate with senior management.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
