About the Role:

As an Electrical Controls Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining and improving PLC programs, troubleshooting electrical systems, and driving process enhancements. Your expertise will help us ensure operational excellence, efficiency, and safety.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently resolve complex technical challenges and know when to seek additional resources.
  • Prioritize safety, quality, and operational efficiency in all tasks.
  • Maintain and enhance PLC programs while identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize electrical systems to minimize downtime.
  • Develop and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation, including electrical schematics.
  • Support IT systems maintenance as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and vendors.
  • Be flexible with work hours, including overtime and occasional weekends.
  • Read and interpret measuring devices, drawings, blueprints, and electrical code specifications to ensure proper equipment layout.
  • Plan and implement process improvements to maximize uptime.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with communication protocols in PLC systems.
  • Strong understanding of industrial machinery specifications and standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing schedules.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities.
