Vaco is in search of a skilled and motivated interim payroll processor to join our client's team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have expertise in payroll processing, Paycom, and onboarding.
Position: Interim Part-Time Payroll Processor
Hours: 10 to 20 hours per week
Experience Requirement: 3+ years of full payroll experience
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform payroll processing, including bonuses, on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Handle onboarding tasks for new hires, including sending out emails, completing required paperwork for payroll and benefits, and setting up and managing Paycom for timecards and commissions.
  • Set up and maintain Concur Expense Management for expense reporting.
  • Manage payroll for a growing organization, expecting to have over 100 employees in the coming months (recently hired 4 for operations in the last week).
Skills Required:
  • Experience with payroll systems, preferably Paycom and Concur Expense Management.
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivots and vlookups.
  • Hands-on approach with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance, as the team is stretched.
  • Excellent communication skills and adaptability to organizational changes.
