We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Manufacturer Representative to represent the Cowgirl Tuff brand in an outside sales 1099-based role in the state of Idaho. As a contracted sales representative, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and expanding our brand presence within the Western apparel market. This position offers a unique opportunity to represent a leading brand in the industry and directly impact our success through strategic sales initiatives. This position offers a 100% commission-based pay structure, allowing you to create uncapped earning potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within designated territories, with a focus on Western apparel retailers and boutiques.
- Collaborate with the Inside Sales Manager to strategically allocate resources and prioritize target markets for expansion.
- Proactively prospect and establish relationships with new wholesale accounts, ensuring alignment with Cowgirl Tuff's brand values and image.
- Manage the end-to-end account acquisition process, from initial outreach to contract negotiation and onboarding.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive market penetration.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase Cowgirl Tuff's latest collections and innovations.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Cowgirl Tuff, promoting brand awareness and fostering positive relationships with retailers and industry stakeholders.
- Represent Cowgirl Tuff at trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to showcase our products and expand our presence.
- Track sales performance metrics, analyze trends, and provide regular reports to management on sales progress, challenges, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted promotional campaigns and sales initiatives to drive revenue growth.
Required Education & Experience
- Proven track record in sales or business development, preferably within the apparel or fashion industry.
- Deep understanding of the Western apparel market and familiarity with key players and trends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Results-driven mindset with a passion for exceeding targets and driving business growth.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend trade shows, and represent Cowgirl Tuff at industry events.
