Logistics Manager


This role will be based out of our Inglewood warehouse and will report to the Director of Operations. The Logistics Manager will assist with all operations and will partner closely with the warehouse manager, production manager, and sales team on a daily basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and empower a high-performing logistics team. Oversee recruitment, training, and development to cultivate a skilled and motivated team of drivers.
  • Leadership and communication expertise. Possess strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate, develop a high-performing team, and collaborate effectively across departments to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Coordinate routing, scheduling, and shipment tracking to guarantee timely deliveries.
  • Focus on optimizing the transportation and distribution of products for maximum efficiency and timely arrival.
  • Possess a strong understanding of logistics regulations and industry best practices.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and the ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced

environment.

  • Develop and implement strategies to streamline logistics processes and foster strong

relationships with vendors and clients to fulfill their needs.

  • Maintain regulatory compliance and uphold all relevant transportation regulations, including

permits, licenses, and documentation requirements.

  • Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost reduction through process improvements, strategic negotiation, and effective vendor management.
  • Mitigate risks and ensure operational continuity. Proactively identify potential logistical

disruptions and develop contingency plans to minimize their impact.

Foster cross-functional collaboration. Work closely with internal teams (warehouse, sales, production) to ensure logistics activities align with business objectives and meet customer

needs.

  • Implement 3PL logistics processes.


Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience leading and developing high-performance teams
  • Experience in high-end retail and white glove logistics.
  • Hands-on leadership style.
  • Strategic and developmental mindset.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and POS systems.
  • G suite and MS Office skills.
  • Must be physically able to assist with stock handling, which includes bending, lifting and

carrying up to 50 lbs.
