The Vice President oversees the Operations, Marketing, and Member Experience departments. The Vice President collaborates closely with the CEO on strategic planning, budgeting, policy development, and compliance management. As the Compliance Officer, they ensure adherence to all lending and internal policies while maintaining high-quality service standards.


+ Key Responsibilities

Operational Management

·      Oversee the operations, marketing, and member experience departments.

·      Implement policies and procedures and ensure team adherence.

·      Act as the primary Compliance Officer, managing team escalations and regulatory issues.

Strategic Planning

·      Collaborate with the President/CEO on strategic initiatives and budgeting.

·      Drive sales and growth initiatives across departments.

·      Support innovation and continuous improvement efforts within the organization.

Compliance and Policy

·      Manage policy updates and ensure regulatory compliance.

·      Conduct regular audits and reviews for policy adherence.

·      Coordinate compliance training programs for staff.

·      Act as liaison between credit union and the Supervisory Committee.

HR Oversight

·      Manage hiring, firing, recruitment, onboarding, and training programs.

·      Develop and implement employee engagement and retention strategies.

·      Oversee performance management and conduct employee evaluations.


+ Qualifications

Education - a bachelor’s degree in finance or related field, or achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor’s degree (e.g. CUNA Management School in lieu of a degree).


Experience - Minimum 5-10 years in financial services with 2 years in a senior leadership or related role preferred.
