NOCO is seeking a Test Engineer in their Phoenix, AZ based R&D facility. Reporting to a Senior Engineer, this role is part of an R&D Engineering team working on new product development.


Summary

This position will be primarily responsible for defining and executing design verification and qualification testing on new products, assemblies, and components. They will work closely with the design engineer to develop test procedures, perform tests, interpret test results, and assist with finding solutions to issues. They will also troubleshoot and debug electronics assemblies and circuit boards during development. Occasional travel to customers and suppliers is required.


Required Skills and Experience

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 3 years engineering experience.
  • with power electronics.
  • with microcontrollers and analog/digital interface electronics.
  • to troubleshoot and debug electronic circuits and systems.
  • with common lab equipment such as DMM, oscilloscope, data acquisition, etc.
  • to use common shop tools to assemble, fabricate, or modify prototypes or test fixtures.
  • with the Microsoft Office Suite.
