Help Desk Support Technician

Top Stack Group has been retained by an Education Institution to assist them in hiring an entry level Help Desk Technician. This is a summer contract and it is 5 days onsite.


Description:

  1. Performs administrative functions within the IT department including updating the Help Desk Ticketing System.
  2. Keeps manager and colleagues well informed.
  3. Settting up classroom and tech carts (ex: laptop carts)
  4. Apple experience is not required.


  1. Operations:
  2. Coordinates problem resolution, as necessary, with vendor and staff.
  3. Keeps manager informed about problems and recommends and implements solutions.


  1. End-user Support:
  2. Assists PC (Mac/Windows) users by helping to identify and resolve problems.
  3. Assists iOS/iPadOS device users by helping to identify and resolve problems.


  1. General
  2. Maintains cordial, open line of communications with all users regarding PC-related activities.
  3. Performs special assignments as required.
  4. Develops required skills through continued self-development on the job as well as formal educational opportunities.
  5. Performs other duties as necessary.
