Our client, just north of Bedford, NH, is looking to add an Energy Engineer to their growing team. Candidates are required to have a Bachelors Degree in Engineering while an advanced degree is more desirable. Responsibilities


  • Participate in the formulation of program and implementation strategies for electric and natural gas energy efficiency initiatives. Assesses technical parameters to ensure project adherence to engineering standards, energy regulations, and incentive program guidelines.
  • Performs energy assessments to ascertain potential electric and natural gas energy conservation.
  • Offers guidance and strategic planning to ensure all projects deliver quantifiable and substantiated energy savings.
  • Assists or conducts equipment and operations inspections in accordance with energy savings calculations and incentive program regulations.
  • Collaborates with external partners and clients to execute energy efficiency programs.
  • Conducts in-depth analyses of high-efficiency HVAC equipment, motors, controls, lighting systems, and other apparatus to determine electric and natural gas energy savings relative to standard equipment or building codes.
  • Collaborates with various departments to review program blueprints and assessments.
  • Provides training and support services for the energy efficiency team and program promotion endeavors.
  • Represent the client at national energy efficiency conferences and stakeholder events
  • Evaluates novel technologies and engages in other research and development endeavors.
