No relocation allowed.Department:South Carolina Department of Health & Human Services (SCDHHS) – Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) / PMO Scope of ProjectThe Quality Assurance Analyst – Consultant will be assigned to projects for the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS) in collaboration with the SCDHHS Project Management Office (PMO). The PMO is responsible for staffing all SCDHHS projects and establishing and monitoring IT-related governance and standards followed by enterprise project teams. The position supports the modernization of the State’s Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS), which includes major transformation of culture, processes, and technology. Responsibilities:Perform tests on technical solutions to isolate and resolve issuesInitiate tests, analyze results, and identify solutions to technical problemsDevelop test plans, QA and/or User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes and test casesMaintain SDLC traceability from test cases to requirements and designs/software componentsDesign and support UI testing and regression testingTest software applications for reliability and stabilityImplement testing programs including negative testing and usability testingDesign and/or execute automated testing scripts with oversight for deploymentParticipate in defect triage, retesting, and resolutionCreate quality assurance documentation and reportsAdhere to software testing governance policies, best practices, and guidelinesPerform reviews, walkthroughs, and inspections per governance standardsCommunicate and publish test status reports, issues, and gaps to development teamsRequired/Preferred Skills:Required Skills:5+ years translating business requirements or policy documentation into test cases and scenarios5+ years building test cases and scenarios into test systems3+ years deep knowledge of healthcare operations (preferably Medicaid)3+ years direct hands-on experience with formal test design toolsPreferred Skills:5+ years experience with large enterprise or e-business systems3+ years experience using testing tools such as Azure DevOps or Atlassian JIRA and Confluence3+ years experience working in Waterfall SDLC and Agile delivery environmentsICD-10 and Medicaid experience desirableV Group Inc. is a NJ-based IT Services and Products Company with its business strategically categorized in various Business Units including Public Sector, Enterprise Solutions, Professional Services, Ecommerce, Projects, and Products.
