Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Contract Senior Data Product Owner / Data Product Analyst to join our banking client's dynamic team. This role is ideal for a candidate with a deep expertise in customer data, data warehousing, and analytics, and who thrives in an Agile environment. As a key member of the data management team, you will lead initiatives to enhance data-driven decision-making, ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and analysis across various platforms.


Key Responsibilities:

* Serve as the Product Owner for data-centric products, managing the product lifecycle from conception to implementation.

* Perform in-depth data analysis, data profiling, and develop complex PL/SQL queries to extract insights and inform business strategies.

* Lead workstreams independently, collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate business intelligence and data governance practices into the banking infrastructure.

* Drive the development and execution of data models, data analysis, and data visualization projects.

* Ensure compliance with data governance standards and practices, enhancing data integrity and usability.

* Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, present findings, and advocate for data-centric solutions.

* Navigate both waterfall and agile development practices effectively, adapting project management approaches to suit project needs and timelines.


Required Qualifications:

* Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Data Analyst, with at least 4 years in the financial services or banking industry.

* Proven track record as a Data Product Owner or Business Data Analyst in an Agile environment.

* Expertise in data warehousing, business intelligence, data governance, and data integration.

* Strong hands-on skills in data analysis and profiling, with superior PL/SQL capabilities.

* Excellent presentation, writing, and listening skills, capable of leading workstreams independently.

* Advanced knowledge of data modeling, data visualization, APIs, and real-time services.

* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

* Strong project management skills, with a full understanding of both waterfall and agile methodologies.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
