Job Title: Multilingual Travel Manager


Job Summary


The Chinese/Vietnamese and Korean-speaking travel manager will assist Mandarin, Cantonese and/or Korean-speaking clients with all aspects of their travel arrangements, including booking flights, accommodations, transportation, cruise and travel activities. The specialist will provide expert advice on travel destinations, help with necessary travel documentation, and resolve any issues that arise during the client's journey. This role requires fluency in Chinese and English, strong customer service skills, and in-depth knowledge of travel products and services.


Key Responsibilities:


Client Consultation: Meet with Chinese/Vietnamese and Korean-speaking clients to understand their travel preferences, budget, and specific needs.


Travel Arrangements: Research, plan, and book flights, hotels, car rentals, and vacation packages, tailored to the client's preferences.


Destination Expertise: Provide clients with detailed information about destinations, including local attractions, cultural nuances, travel restrictions, and weather conditions.


Documentation Assistance: Assist clients in obtaining necessary travel documents, such as visas, passports, and travel insurance, with a focus on Chinese/Vietnamese and Korean-speaking destinations.


Customer Support: Address inquiries and provide support in Chinese/Vietnamese and Korean resolving any issues that may arise before or during travel, such as itinerary changes or emergencies.


Relationship Management: Maintain relationships with clients, ensuring their travel experience is seamless and following up post-travel to gather feedback.


Sales and Promotion: Promote and sell travel packages and services, with a focus on Chinese/Vietnamese and Korean-speaking markets, often meeting or exceeding sales targets.


Cultural Insight: Offer cultural insights and travel tips relevant to Chinese/Vietnamese and Korean-speaking travelers, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience.


Administrative Tasks:  Handle all related paperwork, process payments, and maintain accurate records of bookings and transactions in both Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean and English.


Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with travel trends, destination information, and any changes in travel regulations that may impact Chinese/Vietnamese and Korean-speaking travelers.


Skills and Qualifications:


Language Proficiency: Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese and Korean, along with English, both spoken and written.


Experience: Previous experience as a travel agent or in a customer service role is preferred.


Travel Knowledge: At least 1 year experience with travel booking systems (e.g., GDS like Amadeus, Sabre) and knowledge of Chinese, Vietnamese and Korean travel markets.


Customer Service: Strong customer service skills, with an ability to build rapport with clients and address their needs effectively.


Communication: Excellent communication skills in both Chinese/Vietnamese, Korean and English.


Sales Ability: Ability to sell and promote travel and cruise packages and services to Chinese-Korean speaking clients.


Problem-Solving: Ability to handle travel-related issues efficiently, providing quick solutions to clients.


Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple clients and bookings simultaneously.


Cultural Sensitivity: Deep understanding of Chinese, Vietnamese and Korean culture and travel preferences, ensuring culturally appropriate service.


Work Environment: Office setting, required to report to office Monday to Friday. 

May require flexibility in working hours, particularly to accommodate clients in different time zones.
