ABOUT THE POSITION:


Summary:

The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the management, configuration, and optimization of our Salesforce platform. This role requires a proactive approach to ensuring the Salesforce environment is aligned with the organization’s goals and fully supports the needs of various departments. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set that extends beyond core administration, making them more self-sufficient in participating in complex projects, integrations, and data analysis.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manages and maintains the Salesforce platform, including user management, security settings, data integrity, and system upgrades.
  • Implements and optimizes Salesforce processes, workflows, validation rules, and automation (e.g., Process Builder, Flow).
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into effective Salesforce solutions.
  • Builds custom reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to provide actionable insights to the organization.
  • Oversees the integration of Salesforce with other systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation.
  • Participates in Salesforce-related projects, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with business goals.
  • Provides ongoing support and training to users, ensuring they are equipped to utilize Salesforce effectively.
  • Monitors and manages Salesforce releases and updates to ensure smooth operation and compatibility with custom developments.
  • Works closely within a cross-functional Scrum team, actively participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and reviews.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders, scrum team, and other IT professionals to align Salesforce initiatives with broader IT strategies, ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently and contributes to the overall success of the IT department and firm.

Skills, Experience and Certifications:

  • Salesforce Administrator Certification: Core knowledge of Salesforce platform management.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience with Salesforce integrations, data management, and end-user support.
  • Proven track record of participating in Salesforce projects or initiatives from concept to completion
  • Project Management: Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • IT and Security: Understanding of IT fundamentals and cybersecurity best practices (e.g., CompTIA Security+).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritizing based on business needs.

Preferred Skills and Certifications

  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification (Preferred): Advanced skills in complex automation, reporting, and security.
  • Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification (Preferred): Ability to create custom applications and solutions within Salesforce.
  • Technical Skills (Preferred): Basic programming knowledge (e.g., Apex, JavaScript) for custom development, API integration experience.
  • Data and Analytics (Preferred): Proficiency in data management, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
