We are looking for a Recording Department Manager. This is a 3-month contract to hire opportunity in Westlake Village, CA (Onsite) .


This position offers an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic post-closing team, where you will be immersed in a fast-paced environment, offering both customer support and administrative assistance. This role is crucial in revolutionizing the real estate experience, empowering both our team and clients to implement cutting-edge solutions and achieve outstanding outcomes. The Recording Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the recording staff.


Qualifications:

  • Prior managerial experience.
  • Prior E-Recording experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of industry experience in mortgage, escrow, and title.
  • Minimum 3 years working with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Reader.

Responsibilities:

  • Keeping up to date with new county/state recording guidelines.
  • Manage daily team tasks and metrics.
  • Daily/Weekly/Monthly inventory reporting for accuracy and Quarterly UW reporting and reconciliation.
  • Daily intake and QC of signed documents.

Functions to oversee:

  • QC and Recording documents for clients in different types of real estate transactions.
  • Maintaining pipeline under 10 business days.


Pay Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $40/hour to $45/hour. Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
