Are you ready to take on a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of a solid-fuel power plant in Southern California? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Control Room Operator (CRO) to join the team and help maintain the efficiency and reliability of the plant auxiliary systems and control room equipment.


Responsibilities:

  • Operate plant equipment and auxiliary systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform regular equipment inspections, tests, and operational checks to maintain system integrity.
  • Develop and implement daily operations schedules to keep everything running smoothly.
  • Participate in both scheduled and unscheduled O&M activities.
  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks.
  • Input data to generate work orders & maintain the operations logs.
  • Keep management informed about plant performance and any equipment issues.
  • Make sure the plant adheres to all relevant codes and regulations.


Requirements:

  • Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: 3+ years of power plant experience
  • Skills: Strong operations & maintenance experience
