Position Overview:
The Sales Lead & Rental Manager will be responsible for overseeing both the sales and rental operations within our special event lighting division. This dual role involves managing client relationships, driving sales growth, overseeing the rental process, and ensuring the successful execution of lighting solutions for various events. The ideal candidate will be a motivated leader with a passion for events and lighting, possessing a strong background in sales and rental management.
Sales:
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the special event lighting sector.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation, networking, and relationship building.
Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients, showcasing the benefits and features of our lighting solutions.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials, advertisements, and campaigns to drive sales.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
Rental Management:
Oversee the rental process for special event lighting equipment, including order processing, inventory management, and logistics.
Coordinate with clients to understand their lighting needs, providing expert recommendations and solutions to meet their requirements.
Manage the setup, maintenance, and teardown of lighting equipment for events, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
Develop and maintain an accurate inventory of lighting equipment, ensuring proper maintenance, repairs, and replacements as needed.
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of rental orders and address any issues that arise during events.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales management and rental operations, preferably in the special event or lighting industry.
Strong understanding of special event lighting equipment and technology.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
