TLI Home, a premier importer and wholesaler of home textiles and decor products with a strong reputation serving North American Off-priced retailers for 30 years, is seeking a Director of Sales. With the expansion of showroom in New York City, we are poised for further expansion. This newly created role calls for a candidate with a strong background in sales management, comprehensive knowledge of the home goods market, and substantial experience with TJX and other off-price retailers. 


Location: Hybrid - 3 days per week in our New Jersey office

Role Overview: 

The Director of Sales will lead revenue growth and expanding our market share. This individual will serve as a key strategic leader, responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that enhance our relationships with off-priced retail accounts and steering the company towards long-term success. 


Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and maintain high-level relationships with buyers of Off-Priced Retailers accounts. 
  • Oversee the preparation and delivery of impactful sales presentations and materials, both virtually and in our New York showroom. 
  • Conduct and utilize advanced market research to inform sales strategies and presentations. 
  • Collaborate with the product development, production, and sourcing departments to ensure product offerings meet market needs. 
  • Champion the product, embodying and promoting our corporate identity and values internally and externally. 

Qualifications/Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, Arts/Design, or a related field. 
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in sales account management,
  • Minimum 5 years managing TJX account. 
  • Expert knowledge of Soft home or Hard home including specific categories such as pillows, table/kitchen linen, and bath accessories. 
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and presentation skills. 
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, with Excel skills. 
  • Strong drive to stay ahead of design trends in the consumer home market.
