Must Haves:

  • 0-2 years of laboratory experience

  • Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time
  • Basic knowledge of the information and techniques for lab testing
  • Basic ability to analyze data and accurately document and record results

Job Responsibilities:

  • Retrieve samples from Sample Control for analysis
  • Perform sample preparation including but not limited to: aliquot samples, spike and trace samples, prepare reagents, bottle samples, prepare concentrations, separation, sonication, liquid rack set up
  • Resolve discrepancies and anomalies to ensure samples are properly labeled
  • Prepare general lab paperwork such as recording analysis results, tracking samples, bench sheets, and lab logbooks
  • Wash lab glassware to prepare for next day’s samples
  • Stock lab supplies


Job Description:

The main function of a lab technician is to support laboratory operations through general maintenance of laboratory and supply storage areas, equipment, instruments, and supplies. The typical lab technician is expected to use general lab methods, techniques, equipment, and instrumentation in compliance with quality assurance programs and standard operating procedures


Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.


Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
