Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid Court Reporter role, located in Savannah GA. The Court Reporter will be responsible for accurately recording and transcribing legal proceedings, meetings, and speeches. The role requires attention to detail, strong typing skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. The Court Reporter must also be able to produce accurate and timely transcripts in diverse legal settings.

Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or higher in Court Reporting, or a related field
  • Excellent typing and stenography skills
  • Proficiency in legal terminology and court procedures
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills
  • Familiarity with Computer-Aided Transcription software
  • Ability to report using different methods, i.e., stenographic or electronic reporting
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience in a legal or court reporting environment is desirable, but not mandatory
