Summary:

A Paralegal collaborates with attorneys to perform various legal-related tasks including document drafting, research, and support during legal proceedings. This position plays an essential role in assisting attorneys with legal matters by leveraging knowledge and skills in legal-related issues.


ABOUT MOBIS NORTH AMERICA ELECTRIFIED POWERTRAIN, LLC

MOBIS North America electrified Powertrain LLC (MNAe) is a Tier 1 supplier of BSA and PE systems, which are vital parts to produce electric vehicles, based on state-of-art manufacturing technology related to battery system assembly.


Essential Functions (To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in conducting research and investigation on legal issues.
  • Aid in drafting legal documents and contracts, as well as organizing and managing documents.
  • Manage communication with courts, government agencies, companies, clients, and others, providing explanations and information on legal matters.
  • Provide support for court proceedings and other legal processes, preparing necessary documents and materials.
  • Conduct research on legal issues, identifying relevant laws and regulations, and reporting findings to attorneys.
  • Assist in meetings with attorneys and prepare meeting minutes.
  • Assist in case management, including organizing case files, tracking deadlines, and scheduling appointments.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive legal information.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field.
  • Certification as a paralegal preferred.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and principles.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Prior experience in a legal setting is a plus.
