Overview:

This role requires a dedicated journeyman project manager responsible for planning, executing, and ensuring the success of specific projects while maintaining effective team collaboration and adherence to project budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop project plans that outline phases, timelines, and deliverables while ensuring projects stay on track at all stages.
  • Team Leadership: Motivate and guide team members to achieve shared goals. Facilitate daily evaluations to monitor performance and progress.
  • Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment by ensuring all team members and departments are aligned and working towards common objectives.
  • Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, ensuring all teams adhere to financial constraints and effectively allocate resources.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve any obstacles or setbacks that arise during project execution to keep projects aligned with goals.
  • Project Evaluation: Conduct evaluations upon project completion to assess outcomes, determine the need for follow-up projects, and identify areas for improvement in future initiatives.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address any concerns or adjustments needed.

Qualifications:

  • Active Security Clearance required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Relevant certification, such as Project Management Professional (PMP), is preferred.
  • Several years of experience in project management, specifically in IT, with a demonstrated history of leadership and management responsibilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
