Job Summary


We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Refrigeration Technician to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will be semi-local, have a clean driving record, and possess over five years of experience in refrigeration service and repair. This role requires in-depth knowledge of market refrigeration systems and HVAC units, with a focus on providing high-quality service to our commercial clients.


Key Responsibilities


  • Perform advanced service, maintenance, and repair on various refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers, reach-ins, ice machines, and rack systems.
  • Diagnosed and troubleshot complex issues in refrigeration systems and HVAC units such as package units, splits, and VRFs.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and prevent breakdowns.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and service manuals to accurately identify issues and perform repairs.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior technicians, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety standards.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of all services performed, including work orders, service logs, and maintenance reports.
  • Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and parts necessary for service calls and projects.


Qualifications


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in refrigeration service and repair, focusing on market refrigeration systems.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems, including package units, splits, and VRFs, is strongly preferred.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex repairs independently.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including schematics and service manuals.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
