Our challenge

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Control-M Architect to join our team. This role will involve designing, implementing, and managing batch scheduling solutions using Control-M. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Control-M batch scheduling, administration, and migration, combined with strong scripting and system administration skills across various operating systems.


The Role

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage Control-M batch scheduling solutions to optimize workload automation.

Ensure seamless migration of Control-M environments and scheduling processes to new platforms or versions.

Administer Control-M configurations and manage user access and permissions.

Develop and maintain scripts to automate job scheduling and workflows.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and improve existing scheduling processes.

Manage file transfer components and protocols, ensuring secure and efficient data movement.

Utilize version control systems such as SVN, GIT, and BitBucket for job scripts and automation artifacts.

Provide Linux administration support, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting on CentOS and RedHat.

Implement and maintain Control-M Automation API for enhanced automation capabilities.

Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot job failures or performance issues within the Control-M environment.

Document architecture, configuration, and operational procedures for Control-M systems.

Requirements:

You are:

Proven experience as a Control-M Architect/Administrator with a strong focus on batch scheduling.

Hands-on experience with Control-M migration projects and environment upgrades.

Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Shell scripting, Python) for automation purposes.

Strong knowledge of operating systems, particularly Linux (CentOS, RedHat) and Windows.

Familiarity with file transfer protocols such as FTP/SFTP and related components.

Experience with version control systems including SVN, GIT, and BitBucket.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
