Experience in biotech, medical device, pharmaceuticals, or other GMP manufacturing environments is preferred.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the project manager for Final Drug Product New Process Introductions (NPI).
  • Lead cross-functional NPI teams, including members from Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Process Development, and other business groups.
  • Assess NPI requirements for process, facility, equipment, materials, and training modifications.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans.
  • Ensure effective transfer of process requirements into manufacturing.
  • Coordinate and execute NPI activities, including document preparation/revision, change control management, manufacturing process modifications, and equipment/technology implementation (from design through qualification).
  • Support manufacturing readiness activities.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Engineering or technical degree (mechanical, industrial, chemical, etc.).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience leading technical projects, with full lifecycle ownership.
  • Experience in biotech, medical device, pharmaceuticals, or other GMP manufacturing environments.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as SmartSheets, MS Project, or other PM tools.


About the Role: As a member of the Process Development organization, you will play a crucial role in the commercialization process of Final Drug Products. You will manage the implementation of various drug product formats (e.g., vials, syringes, auto-injectors), introduction of new processes and equipment (including medical device final assembly and testing), and new packaging configurations.


This role requires engaging with Final Drug Product development teams, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful transfer and implementation of new processes into manufacturing. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving the success of NPI projects and supporting the continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes.
