Endeavor has engaged with a privately held commercial real estate investment, development and operating company based in Las Vegas with more than two decades of success. The Vice President (VP) of construction will take the responsibility for managing development activities for land and building developments and construction of for all ground-up commercial real estate projects in the target markets.


This individual will manage and drive a team of third party construction management professionals ensuring development portfolio delivery, and proper staffing to manage forecasted development activity, provide cost and budget information for the projects, manage the technical side of the entitlement process as well as optimize designs and contractor bidding. Responsible for managing internal and external stakeholders through the development process and implementation of development best practices.


The position requires a high degree of energy, enthusiasm, an outgoing personality, technical competence, and professionalism.


Core Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of consultants and contractors to achieve the company deployment goals and objectives.
  • Develop budgets, define risks, and track costs, for land, infrastructure, and building construction.
  • Develop, tender and manage a variety of sizes of projects ranging
  • Deep knowledge and experience on the Pre-development phase- supporting Due Diligence, Permitting, Budgeting and Scheduling. Accountable to lead all the Pre-Development phases.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Architecture, Urban Planning or Engineering is desired, but not required. Graduate degree a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience working in the field of land development and/or development management and exposure to major commercial real estate asset types (retail, office, industrial, multifamily). Experience with restaurant hospitality construction development required.
  • Experience championing a project from acquisition through due diligence, entitlements, and permitting.
  • Additional experience on design/build projects is preferred but not required.
  • Embrace the small office environment and assist others to achieve deadlines.
