Job Purpose:

A pivotal role in driving performance improvement and strategic decision-making within the organization. This position encompasses responsibilities of both business analytics supervision and executive assistance, ensuring seamless coordination between analytical functions and executive support.


Key Accountabilities:


Data Analysis

Conduct advanced data analysis to derive insights for strategic decision-making.

Analyze historical data, identify trends, patterns, and potential risks to optimize business performance.

Oversee competition schedules and routes, conduct market research, and analyze trade routes statistics to identify growth opportunities and risks.


Financial and Operational Analysis

Develop and implement financial planning and control processes to align with business objectives.

Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to monitor and evaluate financial performance.

Monitor performance against set targets, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations for enhanced operational efficiency.


Logistics and Executive Support

Provide proactive and prompt executive support to the VP.

Manage calendars, appointments, and meeting arrangements, including high-level conference calls and executive events.

Maintain confidentiality of important files, prepare reports, and ensure proper documentation and filing procedures.


Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.

Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in business analytics, financial analysis, or a related technical field.

At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity, demonstrating leadership and team management skills.

Proven track record of conducting advanced data analysis and translating findings into actionable insights to drive business decisions.

Extensive experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.

Exceptional proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software

High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.

Demonstrated ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and work effectively under pressure.

Flexibility to travel occasionally for executive support purposes.
