The Opportunity:

As the Distribution Center Manager, you will be the driving force behind a multi-shift, high-volume operation. What You Will Do:

  • Operational Excellence: Continuously evaluate and improve workflow, staffing, space utilization, and equipment layouts to maximize efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, train, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Safety & Compliance: Implement and enforce rigorous safety protocols to ensure a secure workplace for all employees.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, implement effective cycle counting procedures, and ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Process Optimization: Evaluate and refine shipping and receiving processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve operational challenges, implementing both corrective actions and long-term solutions.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful completion.


What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree: In engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of distribution center management experience, ideally in the building materials, tools, or manufacturing industry.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to manage teams across multiple shifts and functions, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in warehouse management software and data analysis tools.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
