Service Desk Specialist

One of our biggest clients in the healthcare industry is making strides in a number of specialized practices. They are committed to providing top care and their rapid growth is a sign of their success. They are looking to take on a Service Desk Specialist who will provide over the phone and remote support. This is an onsite position based in Yonkers, NY.
Service Desk Specialist’s Responsibilities and Duties
- Resolving incoming client and personnel IT queries remotely via email and phone, or at the office.
- Perform Level 1 troubleshooting and facilitate request fulfillment for our client's platforms and systems
- Prioritizing and resolving IT concerns and escalating serious issues to relevant stakeholders.
- Serve as resource and escalation point for other Service Desk specialists.
- Provide outstanding client service and contributes to the organization’s mission of utilizing information technology to improve patient care.
Service Desk Specialist’s Qualifications and Skills
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related discipline.
- At least two years' of professional experience in an IT performance analysis and end-user support role.
- Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) and task management software.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- This position will require some travel. The ideal candidate will need to have reliable access to a vehicle.
