Document Control Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in getting products to market by utilizing SAP/PLM system to create shipping licenses, conduct clean-up work, and release products.
  • Conduct compliance checks and collaborate with logistics partners and customers.
  • Gather and analyze data using Excel pivot tables and VLOOKUPs to generate reports, draw conclusions, and provide solutions.
  • Prioritize daily tasks and maintain flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Collaborate effectively with teams and work independently as needed.
  • Work closely with a mentor and follow instructions diligently.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with demonstrated experience in pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work onsite in Sylmar, CA for the initial 2-3 weeks of training, with the flexibility to work remotely thereafter (with one day in the office per week).
  • Local candidates preferred; remote candidates outside of the Sylmar area must be exceptional but may not be eligible for conversion to FTE.
  • Familiarity with EUMDR (European Medical Device Regulations) is a plus.
  • Experience in project management and customer service is preferred.
