The Firm is seeking to hire an Associate Attorney with at least 1-7 years of employment law experience for our Southbury, Connecticut office. Candidates must have excellent research, writing, communication and advocacy skills. Connecticut Bar admission required. New York Bar admission is not a requirement, but a plus. The firm operates on a permanent hybrid in-office/remote work schedule. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:-

  • Analyse complex legal and factual issues, conduct extensive, well-reasoned legal research, and independently develop and present defense strategies on behalf of clients.
  • Prepare complex pleadings, written discovery, depositions (fact/expert witness), motions, and briefs in support of defense strategies.
  • Provide effective and timely communications, information, legal advice, and other services to clients on legal and factual issues.
  • Communicate with the court, witnesses, opposing counsel, and co-counsel in a prompt, professional, and productive manner consistent with established office procedures.
  • Responsible for the prompt, efficient, and effective disposition of assigned cases.
  • Assist in preparing and presenting witnesses and evidence at trials, judicial and administrative hearings, arbitrations, and alternative dispute resolutions.
