Sansiveri, Kimball & Co., LLP, a leading regional public accounting, and business consulting firm located in Providence, RI, offering remote work options and flexible work schedules, seeks a qualified individual for the following opening in our Client Accounting & Advisory Services (CAS) Group:



Client Accounting Services Manager

 

Provides a combination of both controller and bookkeeping services to a variety of clients from different industries.


Clientele include:

o  Small to medium sized businesses

o  Industries include construction, manufacturing, not-for-profit, professional services, and retail


Controller services

o  Responsible for oversight, account management and accuracy of financial records

o  Oversee, produce, and present financial statements and results

o  Develop and maintain insightful analytical reports

o  Drive the implementation of best practices and efficiencies.

o  Timely responsiveness to client inquiries

o  Develop and maintain strong relationships with client personnel

o  Proactively work with CPA for tax planning and preparation support

 

Bookkeeping

o  Posting transactions to the general ledger system

o  Monthly bank reconciliations

o  Month-end and year-end close

o  Budget to actual and other analyses

o  Reconciling third-party service provider reports to the general ledger

o  Cash disbursements process including processing payments for approved invoices

o  Accounts receivable function including issuing invoices and applying cash receipts

o  Processing payroll utilizing client’s third-party processor


Team Oriented

o  Maintain strong communication with others with the CAS Team

o  Support other members of the CAS Team and Sansiveri

o  Support Tax Department by providing tax preparation work for mutual CAS and other clients

o  Perform various other duties to support the continued growth and success of the CAS Team


Competencies / Skillset

Required

·        A minimum of 3 years of experience in performing CAS related work OR 4 – 5 years of public / industry accounting experience

·        Strong communication skills

·        Ability to manage multiple projects

·        Ability to meet multiple deadlines in a timely fashion

·        Ability to work well in a team environment

·        Proficient in QuickBooks Online

·        Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

·        Ability to learn and utilize various software, as necessary

 

Preferred

·        Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop

·        Bachelor’s degree in accounting

Desired

·        CPA license
