Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Principal Product Manager to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in shaping the future of our bank tech products, with a focus on expanding our integration capabilities with online banking and core processor platforms. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong bank tech background, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering innovative products to market. This role requires close collaboration with clients, internal teams, and executive leadership to ensure alignment with business goals and customer needs. Experience and a demonstrated understanding of the Community Bank and Credit Union space is a major plus.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Responsibilities)

Team Management
1. Mentor and lead a team of Product Managers, fostering professional growth and development.
2. Provide clear direction, establish priorities, and ensure accountability within the team.
Product Leadership
1. Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept and development to launch and market adoption.
2. Define and execute product strategies and roadmaps that align with organizational objectives.
3. Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
Stakeholder Collaboration
1. Work closely with technology leadership to align product development with technical capabilities and constraints.
2. Collaborate with clients, particularly banks and credit unions, to gather insights and tailor solutions.
3. Present product strategies and updates to executives and key stakeholders.
Performance Measurement
1. Establish and track KPIs to measure product success and inform decision-making.
2. Use data-driven insights to refine product offerings and improve performance.
Organizational Influence
1. Indirectly manage cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to ensure successful product launches and ongoing success.
2. Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing expert guidance on product capabilities and strategies.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS (Qualifications)
Experience
1. 10+ years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
2. Proven experience in the bank tech space, specifically with online banking and core system integrations.
3. Demonstrated success in taking products from concept to full market availability.
4. Experience working directly with banks and credit unions is highly preferred.
Skills
1. Strong understanding of SaaS platforms and their unique challenges and opportunities.
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
3. Expertise in establishing and tracking KPIs to measure and drive product success.
Leadership
1. Experience leading and mentoring Product Managers and cross-functional teams.
2. Ability to influence and collaborate with executives and organizational leaders.

Position Requirements
1. Must be legally allowed to work in the U.S.
2. Kasasa values the importance of flexibility and collaboration. We offer a hybrid work model where you'll join us in the office for at least three full workdays each week, allowing for meaningful in-person connections and teamwork. The remaining two days offer the option to work remotely, providing you with the balance and autonomy to excel in your role.
4. You will be asked to participate in culture-related meetings, activities, and events. We firmly believe that building culture and teamwork in a company requires extra intentionality, thus your participation and engagement isn’t just encouraged - it is required and part of your role responsibilities.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Sitting for extended periods of time; approximately 5-6 hours per day
- Simultaneous use of hand, wrist and fingers
- Daily operation of standard office equipment
- Frequent use of oral communication to perform work
- Lifts and moves 7-10 pounds occasionally
