Pay rate : $75 to $80 /hr

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a range of CT procedures, including biopsies, cardiac CT, CT Angiograms, and post-processing, under the guidance of radiologists.
  • Operate CT equipment, ensuring proper selection of technical factors for optimal imaging results.
  • Maintain meticulous identification and documentation of images and related data.
  • Uphold strict radiation protection standards for patients, staff, and the public.
  • Manage patient exam processes, including acquisition, transfer, and archival of data.
  • Ensure the integrity and security of radiology information systems.
  • Provide training and support to fellow technologists, contributing to a collaborative work environment.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, including weekends and holidays, as required.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma/GED; completion of a Technical Diploma in a Radiology Program.
  • Experience: Previous pediatric experience preferred.
  • Certifications: Must obtain CT certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board within 12 months of hire. Current CPR certification required upon hire.
  • Skills: Basic knowledge of CT imaging, PACS, and radiology information systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform tasks involving bending, stooping, climbing, crawling, kneeling, lifting, pushing, and pulling, among other physical demands as outlined.

Working Environment:

  • Exposure to various environmental factors including biological agents, temperature extremes, confined spaces, and radiation sources.
