Santa Monica, United States The Many Full time

Since its founding in 2009, The Many has combined technology, creativity and empathy to make stuff consumers actively seek, engage and share.

It has resulted in loads of integrated campaigns and award-winning work for social and digital, long-form and creator content, and activations.

The secret sauce: we harness the power of participation. Because if you look around you’ll notice that brands are no longer built in isolation, they’re built in participation with the many.

We are looking for candidates who are motivated, detail-oriented, a strong collaborator and hungry to do great work. Our ideal team member is highly organized, enjoys creative thinking, and is excited to dive into the details for thoughtful insights. As a member of The Many, we look for those who maintain a positive attitude in the face of a constantly changing environment. We’re looking for problem solvers, who are professionals in all communications both inside the agency and with clients. You will work closely with our Media and Analytics teams on a daily basis for campaign management, and also cross-functionally with our Brand, PM, Strategy, and Creative teams throughout the planning and execution process. Digital Specialists are an integral part of our Digital Media Department, to keep our campaigns running smoothly across all of our clients.

What this role is responsible for:

  • Develop tactical media plans across multiple clients, as well as budget planning, audience building, delivery projects, and initial platform allocations
  • Spearhead the day-to-day management of in-platform campaigns, including social and search, actively maintain campaigns that are live, recognize and recommend optimization opportunities, and troubleshoot and problem solve issues
  • Partner with the media team to have a pulse on ongoing updates throughout the campaign, ensuring everything is running smoothly and effectively, and all ad accounts remain in good standing
  • Create and manage recurring campaign deliverables, including pacing and actualizations for in-platform channels and partners, ensuring precision and accuracy across all documents
  • Have a deep knowledge and understanding of campaign details, helping your internal and external teams manage constantly moving budgets, strategies, tactics, and content
  • Become an expert in the set-up of in-platform campaigns, understanding the nuances and rationale of all settings and setup strategies of common platforms, such as Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Google Search, etc.
  • Support with monthly, quarterly, and campaign reporting, providing actionable performance insights on in-platform tactics and execution
  • Understand and advise on platform opportunities and limitations, strategies, and best practices, including tech & targeting capabilities, audience & testing strategies, tracking/pixels, testing parameters, and tech & compliance barriers
  • Assess new partners, tech advancement and/or restrictions with an inquisitive and strategic mindset, and provide a deeper perspective on implications and opportunities for the greater team
  • Build client trust through conversations and statuses, through a deep understanding of the execution and performance of their campaigns
  • Develop relationships and collaborate with internal teams to support productive integrated workstreams across Media, Analytics, Strategy, Brand, PM, and Creative
  • Support effective communication with internal cross-functional teams to ensure they have all the information needed in a timely fashion
  • Find opportunities to advance and/or educate our agency, whether it be current paid social channels, new and emerging trends/technologies, processes or integration opportunities
  • Seek opportunities to streamline and elevate through the lens of technology

What we need from you:

  • 1+ year of hands-on in-platform experience in primary social channels required (YouTube, Meta, TikTok)
  • A keen interest in and growing knowledge of emerging trends across media and how it applies to our practice and clients
  • A basic understanding of and natural curiosity of the digital media landscape and a desire to innovate and keep up with trends
  • A solution-oriented and proactive mindset
  • Motivation and eagerness to learn, with a self-starter mentality
  • An eye for details, recognizing the importance of accuracy and commitment to getting it right the first time
  • The ability to organize large sets of data and information, and provide thoughtful analyses and actionable insights
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • The ability to thrive in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment, while juggling multiple projects
  • A collaborative and team-oriented mindset, and willingness to roll up your sleeves
  • Excellent communication & writing skills
  • Open to working in-office three days a week

Other things we’d like to see:

  • 1+ year of hands-on in-platform experience in secondary social channels (Snapchat, Pinterest, LinkedIn, X)
  • Hands-on in-platform experience with Search and Programmatic (Google Ads, TradeDesk, Amazon, DV360, etc.)
  • Hands-on in-platform experience with third-party ad server and ad verification platforms (Google Campaign Manager, Innovid, Google Tag Manager, Google DataStudio, etc.)

Our salary range for this opportunity is $74,000 to $84,000 annually. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base salary, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education and experience, as well as job location and the value of other elements of an employee’s total compensation package (i.e. benefits, retirement plan employer match, etc.).

The Many is more than an agency. The Many is also a movement to push the world forward and we believe that diversity is an integral part of that mission. Every identity, from your heritage to those you hold dear, your beliefs, abilities, status, ethnicity, as well as your gender (and please share your pronouns), these are the threads that strengthen our collective fabric. We want you to feel seen and supported from the get-go. If there's any way we can assist or accommodate you during the interview process, we're just a message away.
