The Role: We are seeking a talented and strategic People leader to join our team and build Cortwo’s People function. This role will be instrumental in building and scaling our company and in its rapid growth.


Key Responsibilities:


  • 360 Strategic People Planning:
  • Develop and execute a long-term People strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.
  • Forecast future People needs and develop plans to meet those needs.
  • Create People metrics and track trends to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Culture Building:
  • Foster a positive company culture that attracts and retains top talent.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives.
  • Promote strong alignment beyond the company’s ambitious mission.
  • Talent Acquisition and Management:
  • Oversee the recruitment team’s process, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
  • Develop and implement effective onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Manage employee retention and performance, including performance reviews and career development planning.
  • Compensation and Benefits:
  • Design and administer competitive compensation and benefits packages.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • People Operations:
  • Manage day-to-day People operations, including payroll, benefits procurement and administration, and employee relations.
  • Implement People systems and processes to streamline operations and improve efficiency.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • 7+ years of experience in People, with at least 5 years in a software development environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or another advanced degree preferred.
  • A passion for building a culture that enables individuals to thrive in, while aligning beyond a big mission together.
  • Experience and insights in OKRs and other performance management frameworks.
  • Proven track record in building and scaling People functions from 0 to 1 in high-growth companies.
  • Successful training and development of senior and middle management in a start-up or scale-up company.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
