As the Nurse Manager in Labor & Delivery, you’ll oversee a 21-bed L&D unit, along with the OB ED and Antepartum units. You’ll lead a dedicated team of nursing professionals, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety, evidence-based care, and staff development in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the daily operations of our Labor & Delivery unit to ensure safe, compassionate, and high-quality care for every patient.
  • Empower and inspire your team to deliver goal-directed nursing care, aligned with the hospital’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Drive performance improvement initiatives, promote nursing excellence, and engage in staff development programs.
  • Ensure compliance with patient safety standards, infection control guidelines, and TJC Patient Safety Goals.
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership to ensure that department goals and financial targets are met, while maintaining a focus on patient-centered care.


What We’re Looking For:

  • 2+ years of recent leadership experience in an Acute Care L&D setting (preferably in a high-risk/complex L&D environment).
  • BSN required, MSN preferred.
  • Texas RN license (or compact license), with BLS/ACLS certification.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate, empower, and develop nursing staff.
  • Experience in Magnet or Pathways facilities is a plus
