Senior Leadership Team - Directly reports to the CEO


Aegis Worldwide is seeking a VP of Production for a client near Schaumburg IL. This individual will directly manage leadership in the welding, machining, cutting/sawing, assembly, and hydraulics departments. They are a machine design manufacturer creating custom components.


Responsibilties

  • Overseeing production operations, ensuring the production process runs efficiently adhering to the budget requirements
  • Overseeing 5 Foreman, providing leadership and knowledge.
  • Attend daily production meetings, creating the manufacturing schedule
  • Administering performance evaluations (KPIs), responsible for disciplinary action, hiring, and firing employees.
  • ERP implementation - capacity planning, ensuring resources and inventory are correct, and tracking future costs.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (Engineering, Industrial Management, or similar) - Associate's/Technical Degree if 10+ years in the manufacturing space
  • 4+ years of leadership experience
  • Experience in machining, fabrication, electromechanical assemblies, industrial etc.
  • MRP implementation experience
  • ISO 9000 - PLUS
  • UL experience - PLUS
