Job Title: Director – Cybersecurity, Engineering & Operations

Location: Boston, MA; Tampa, FL; or Dallas, TX – Hybrid

Base Salary: $200K+


About the Role:

Join a global leader in financial services, as the Director of Cybersecurity, Engineering & Operations. This exclusive opportunity calls for a seasoned leader (functional manager) with a robust background in cybersecurity, as well as engineering and operations. You will manage a global team, driving strategic initiatives and implementing top-tier security solutions. The position is hybrid, requiring three days onsite weekly, so candidates must be local to Boston, MA; Tampa, FL; or Dallas, TX.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a global team of 30 cybersecurity professionals, including analysts, engineers, and incident responders.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Drive security operations by overseeing the development of tools, processes, and capabilities for detecting and responding to cyber threats.
  • Build, mentor, and lead an agile security engineering team, fostering career growth and optimal performance.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to align cybersecurity efforts with broader business goals.
  • Manage budget, resource prioritization, and strategy for continued growth and innovation in security solutions.


Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in the technology industry with at least 3 years in a senior cybersecurity leadership role.
  • Proven expertise in both cybersecurity and engineering/operations leadership, with strong management skills in global, large-scale environments.
  • Prior experience managing strategy and budget within a highly regulated industry (preferably financial services).
  • Strong technical background in cybersecurity engineering and hands-on experience with cloud environments (AWS).
  • Familiarity with essential cybersecurity tools such as CrowdStrike, log management systems, and network security technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
