Softworld, a Kelly Company, is currently recruiting for an Information Systems Business Analyst to work on-site in Rancho Cordova. The ideal candidate for the Information Systems Business Analyst 3 role is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in IT facilities management, particularly in new build projects from the ground up. They possess a strong blend of technical knowledge and business acumen, with a proven track record of working across multiple enterprise organizations to develop and implement effective solutions. Additionally, they excel in project planning, technical documentation, and creating analytical reports for leadership.


The Information Systems Business Analyst 3 is an experienced professional adept at applying theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios. This role requires a deep understanding of the IT implementation field, involving technology-based analysis of business practices, processes, and problems.


Key Responsibilities:

Develop solutions through process design, policy, or procedural changes to meet business requirements.

Create detailed specifications for processes and/or systems; validate requirements against business needs.

Plan and execute unit integration and/or end-user acceptance testing; develop training materials for project implementation.

Conduct requirements development to satisfy business needs for IT Facilities/Implementations as part of the project.

Assess existing data, applications, infrastructure, equipment, workflows, and technology to analyze functionality, efficiency, and productivity.

Assist IT Implementations/Facilities with development and implementation aligned with business requirements for the construction project.

Combine technical knowledge and business acumen to evaluate needs and identify potential solutions.

Plan projects and draft detailed plans and/or technical documentation; create metrics, dashboards, and analytical documents for IT leadership reporting.

Collaborate with IT Facilities project managers to provide project support.

Act as a liaison between business customers, other departments, and IT Facilities technical teams.

Identify and drive improvements and efficiency initiatives in IT Facilities support for the project.


Duties:

Apply technical expertise and business analysis concepts to define complex system scopes, requirements, and objectives.

Provide analyses for complex resources related to projects, working directly with all levels of management.

Conduct complex business issue analysis and provide recommendations for solutions.

Develop business requirements, functional specifications, and project support documentation.

Participate in a fast-paced portfolio of project requests, driving issues to resolution.

Initiate, design, or modify complex procedures for systems with a broad impact at an organizational level.

Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to address complex business or systems issues related to workflow development and enhancement for projects and/or requests.

Experience with Enterprise Organizations

Proven ability to work across various enterprise-level organizations and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.

IT Facilities Management Experience

Ideal candidates will have experience in managing IT facilities projects, particularly new builds from the ground up.

Candidates who have only worked at a single company for many years without new facility build-out experience may not be suitable.

Project Management and Technical Documentation

Demonstrated expertise in project planning, drafting detailed technical documentation, and creating analytical documents for reporting.
