Position Overview:
You will be essential to the smooth operation of our venue. You will ensure that tables and service areas are clean, organized, and ready for our guests, contributing to an exceptional and seamless guest experience. Your role will involve working closely with servers and bartenders to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Quickly and efficiently clear and reset tables between guests.
- Remove used glassware, plates, and utensils from tables and bar areas.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining and bar areas.
- Replenish supplies such as napkins, utensils, and condiments as needed.
- Support servers by delivering items to tables and assisting with guest requests.
- Respond promptly to any spills or messes to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of events or special functions as required.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation procedures.
Work Environment/Required Skills/Physical Demand:
- Previous experience as a busser or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Must be available to work late nights, weekends, and potential holidays.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.
- Must be able to stand and move around for extended periods.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Must be able to push and lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a nightclub, bar, or upscale restaurant setting.
- Basic understanding of service protocols and hygiene standards.
- Ability to anticipate the needs of guests and staff members.
