Position Overview: As an Architect or Architectural Designer, you will play a crucial role in developing and overseeing technical drawings across all project phases, working primarily on large-scale transportation projects and a diverse range of other institutional projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Drawing Development: Develop and oversee technical drawings across all phases of project development (Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, Construction Administration).
  • Large-Scale Transportation Projects: Work primarily on large-scale transportation projects, including collaborations with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA).
  • Diverse Project Portfolio: Contribute to projects beyond transportation, including correctional facilities, behavioral health centers, medical facilities, and civil buildings (excluding residential projects).


Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: A professional degree in Architecture, with licensure as an Architect preferred.
  • Experience: 4 to 12 years of relevant experience in architectural design and project management.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in MicroStation and Revit is essential.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in technical drawing and architectural design across various project phases.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to Excellence: A commitment to excellence and continuous development in the field of architecture.
