Position: Benefits Manager

Location: Denver, CO near the Denver Tech Center

This is one of the most established builders in the industry with 45 years of experience and 240,000 homes to their credit.



This will be a direct hire fully in office role paying $100-125k annually with a discretionary year-end bonus.



Requirements:


  • 5+ years of HR benefits administration experience including HR systems, compensation, management, strong 401K knowledge and background.
  • Bachelor’s degree; preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Must be technically savvy with UKG for reporting.
  • Must be knowledgeable on compliance matters related to HR functions.
  • Knowledge and understanding of insurance contracts.
  • Must be proficient in the MS Office suite and HRIS reporting.



Responsibilities:


  • Provide counseling and guidance to management on a variety of issues related to employee benefit plan design and trends, compensation practices and company trends, and HR system needs.
  • Ensure the benefit plan is in compliance with regulatory agencies and Federal/ State laws.
  • Interprets benefit policies, procedures and laws, ensuring adherence to all applicable regulations.
  • Manages and leads the overall wellness strategy for the company.
  • Analyzes and evaluates services, coverage, premiums, and options available to determine which programs best meet the needs of the company and employees.
  • Perform periodic financial analysis of benefit costs and identify issues and make recommendations for their resolution. Analyze benefits claims experience for cost control and risk mitigation.
  • Manage the development and delivery of employee communications related to new or revised benefit plans and plan provisions; manages the annual employee benefits open enrollment process.
  • Manage the administration and transfer of accurate employee benefits data to or from, external vendors, plan providers, auditors, external consultants, and payroll department.
  • Act as direct liaison to benefit carriers and is the focal point for all communications with benefits broker. Work with broker and vendors to resolve escalated benefits administration problems and issues.
  • Ensure that data integrity within the HRIS system is upheld and that all administrative processes for record keeping are in compliance with federal/state law.
