Computer Numerical Control Machinist

Pay: $18.00-22.00 (DOE)
Schedule: Monday-Friday from 6:00 AM-2:30 PM (Must be able to work Saturdays and OT)
- There are 9-10 hours of OT available.
They are currently starting at 5:00 AM.
Position Description:
Set up, operate, and maintain both CNC and Manual lathes and mills
.Knowledge of machining tools (drills, inserts, etc…) as well as feeds and speeds needed for efficiency and tool life.
Machine to dimensions and tolerances set by blueprint.
Detect and report defective material or questionable conditions to supervision.
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
Follow all safety regulations.
Position Requirements:
Must have at least 2 years of experience
Must read a tape measure and other measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc…)
Ability to read a blueprint
Good analytical and mathematical skills to interpret drawings
Ability to use overhead crane
Familiarity with computers and Windows-based computer programs is a plus
Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing PPE (safety glasses, Mask, Steel toeshoes)
Team player
Attention to detail and the ability to adapt to day-to-day changes
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
